Upon further reflection, I realize in today’s technologically driven society, there is a niche in the broadcasting industry for home commentators. In this world of blogs, youtube, and facebook, unnecessary are the commentators of the past who have years of experience and professional training. Gone are the Vin Scullys and Howard Cossells. They have been replaced with almost anyone, specifically this guy. To ensure his future success, I have provided a few suggestions for prospective broadcasters, a tutorial if you will.

How to improve your Youtube home sportscast set-up:

1. Get somebody else to operate camera
2. Remove refrigerator from doorway
3. Show marginal enthusiasm
4. Prepare
5. Make sure calendar shows correct month
6. Update wood paneling

Howard Cossell and Vin Scully surely followed a list similar to this when embarking on their careers.
