Playoffs?

The video above is in honor of a recent comment made by Tom Blogical.

I know talking about playoffs is absurd, but so is talking about the Bengals in general.

Even if the Bengals could make a run with an easy schedule, it would be a lost cause. A meaningless moral victory.

What would happen if Cincinnati faces the Patriots or Colts?

Personally, I don’t think the Steelers are good.

Should have the Bengals went for it on 4th-and-one in the first half?

Would have the Bengals stopped Hines Ward’s first touchdown if they had 11 players on the field?

Did Santonio Holmes really hold onto that deep ball early in the first quarter?

Did Kenny Watson really fumble?

How can the refs review two calls and blow both of them?

Again, does any of this matter?

The Bengals will still find a way to lose.

However, like Woody (right - comment in post below) says “Anyway I’ll still waste my Sunday afternoons watching them on the tube when they’re away and at PBS when they are at home…come rain or shine.” - all of us disgruntled Bengal fans will be forced through more disappointment and false hope.

LOL! I went to Wikipedia and that YouTube clip just to make sure I got the quote right…that clip cracks me up every time I see it.

Thanks for the link to my blog!

Oh, and about the rest of the post–the Patriots or Colts could bury the Bengals with their 2nd teams.

I agree the Steelers aren’t that good, but I’d love to see the Bengals actually beat them at PB Stadium for once.

I think the field goal was the right decision. Bad football team or not, don’t compound the situation with bad game strategy decisions.

Did the Bengals stop Hines Ward all day? Nope.

I think Holmes caught the football.

Not so sure if Watson fumbled.

The refs blowing reviews are happening a lot at the NFL and collegiate level.

I don’t think any of it matters. Too many injuries and suspensions.

I don’t watch the Bengals as intensely as I watch the Buckeyes. I’ve learned to expect poor results with the former.

Steelers Rule - Bengals Drool! We love the Bengals actually - they are a guaranteed 2 wins every year - same for the LOSER Brown-ettes! Keep making your tickets available ‘fair weather,’ we’ll keep buying them up and beating your butts…..
