Jeep Commercial: Woody Special

That video is for Woody, who said it was the best part of the game. At the time, I thought it was weird, but in retrospect I can’t argue.

Bengal Stripes’ No. 1 fan, Woody (below - right), has let his opinion known throughout the season.

While the rest of you go to Bengals.com, Woody takes his frustrations out on Bengal Stripes.

Honestly, I don’t know why anyone still reads Bengals.com. Somehow, the site remains positive even though the Bengals continue to stink up the Queen City.

Get angry! Get pissed Marvin!

We all know Woody is about to pop.

Here is a look at our No. 1 fan’s comments throughout the disapointing weeks.

Before Game One:

“Big! This game is monstrous/huge! It will undoubtedly set the tone for the entire season. See u at PBS.”

Bengals 27-20 over Ravens - Woody’s mood: Excited.

After Game Two, but right before game Three:

“It makes perfect sense for the bengals to beat Seatle…I’ve been watching this happen year after year…They beat the teams they shouldn’t and lose to the teams they shouldn’t…..dah”

Browns 51-45, over Bengals - Woody’s mood: Hopeful.

After Game Three:

“I’m starting to get really depressed, it’s getting very reminscent of the bungals of old…they seem to find different ways to lose every week…if they can’t pull out a win at home this monday i fear the season may be over before it gets started.”

Seahawks 24-21, over Bengals - Woody’s mood: Depressed.

After Game Four:

“Monday night’s game was an embarassement to the the entire Bengal nation…Ocho Stinko wants a superbowl ring! You got to be kidding, the only ring he should have is a nose ring so we could tie a fish line on it to guide him through his designated pass routes. Brady was toying with the Bengal defense; one series he would decide to run for a touchdown, the next he decided to throw the ball down the field for over 85 yards; if he wanted to he could have juggled the ball down the field. Do we really have to endure another decade of this crap…It’s time for Bengal fans to unite and demand better….I’m fed up and I’m not going to take it anymore…anyone want my season ticket?”

Patriots 34-13, over Bengals - Woody’s mood: Embarrassed.

After Game Five:

“These guys can talk the talk but even crawl the walk. I’m back to my 1990’s attitude…expect them to lose and be amused when they don’t. The only thing good about that game was the Jeep commercial when the wolf jumps in the back seat and eats the little singing birds…kind of reminded me of Gonzalez picking on Madieu Williams and D.Jones. What’s with 3rd and 3,2,1 and 1 foot, can’t this team get anything done? Now the offence stinks as bad as the defense. Deja vu 1990’s!!!”

Chiefs 27-20, over Bengals - Woody’s mood: Hopeless.

I expect more responses from Woody as the season continues to disappoint. In fact, consider this your invitation to do a post after Bengal loses - I want to get the classic bitter responses that Bengals.com and the rest of the local media is afraid to say.

Now that’s what I’m talking about! Let’s hear how the rest of the Bengal’s fans really feel! Let it all out and you’ll feel sooo much better.

I agree with Woody. He is very smart and properly passed it down to his beautiful, talented and intelligent bird offspring.

Anyway I agree. Marvin was smiling through the whole press conference after the game on Sunday. Smiling! What in the hell is he smiling about? I have always taken Marvin’s side…but now I say screw him. He isn’t even taking it seriously. Seriously the Bengals suck. And that’s your fault Marvin. You suck. Stop smiling and update your resume.

And I love the hype that Chad Johnson brought to the Bengals and how he made us well known. But does anyone else get nauseous when seeing his commericals or billboards? I hope they start pulling the plug on him and his promotions. Maybe then he’ll realize he aint no P’Diddy…he’s a football player and he’ll start acting like one.

Being a Bengals fan has always been hard. We have always had that reputation of being a joke within the NFL and now it’s back to haunt us. It’s especially hard being an out of state fan, I can’t even show my face at work on Mondays anymore. I’m with Woody and his comment on Game 5. I’ll just expect them to lose and be excited when they don’t.

I guess the real question is who is going to get the number 1 draft pick? Us or the Falcons? And atleast the Falcon’s have an excuse to why they suck. We just suck.

How’s that for venting? And I also agree that the Bengals website is too positive. Are they even watching the same games we are? We may be Bengal fans but we aren’t idiots…don’t treat us like idiots. We know whats up. And you better bet that the games won’t be sold out next year no matter what you put on the website.

I am actually glad to be an out-of-state Bengals fan, because it makes the misery that much easier to take. You have to make an effort to go somewhere to watch the team get hammered, and until THEY start making an effort on the field, I will not make an effort to go to a bar to watch the games.

Screw em all. Hire “the chin” as the next head coach. He wont take crap from anyone.
