Flip Flop - O

By Adam Kiefaber

We love him.

We hate him.

He wants to make the Bengals a winner.

He then says that he doesn’t want to play for a loser.

He wants a change of scenery.

He wants out of Cincinnati.

“Am I coming back? Of course I am. I told my coaches I’m going to California to act, but the truth is I may come back to the Bengals as early as June,” the WR told ESPN The Magazine. “I may be crazy but I’m not stupid.”

So, who is stupid?

Is it us for listening, caring and believing “the WR” when he emotionally voiced his opinion regarding his need for change.

Personally, I think he is stupid.

To think that he is going to come back and everything is going to be fine - would be - you guessed it - stupid.

I still wouldn’t rule out a trade, there are rumors that he still could be dealt to the Philadelphia Eagles, until then, unlike “Flip Flop - O”, I will stay true to my word and never refer to him by his name while he is a Cincinnati Bengal.

flip-flop o is a jackass and I’ve haven’t met a smart jackass yet. I personally hope he comes back and they pay him his 3 mil but make him sit the entire season…won’t happen but it would make me happy.

Damn, you re a dedicated Bengal’s fan. I bookmarked this site even though I’m a Charger’s fan. Nice blog on Ocho Selfish.

Dough-Ho Loco. The ultimate punishment would be to relocate him to that football gulag known as Miami. Considering they’re looking at Teddy Ginn as receiver numero uno, they might part with, say, Jason Taylor and a pick to get a facsimile of a professional receiver. Then we could all watch in rapt fascination as the douchebag begs for the ball from Jon Beck or Cleo Lemon, then has to explain that, by the ball, he means a pass, and, by a pass, he means a ball thrown in his general area. Meanwhile, his eyes grow bloodshot from standing to close to Ricky Williams…

Welcome Ian and IgnatiusJReilly - sorry about the delay - but from now on your comments on Bengalstripes.com will flow freely without moderation.

And I agree trading “Dough-Ho Loco” to his hometown of Miami - that would be hilarious. Previously he said that he wouldn’t mind going there - even though his broken record speech is all about playing for a winner - that would be great for him to go MIA (that works on too many levels)

Welcome back Woody, without your comments Bengalstripes.com is a very dull place, good to see you in the offseason.

And you didn’t disappoint - I don’t know any intelligent jackasses either

Ocho Bozo is the perfect moniker. I don’t care where he would end up, in the AFC North or wherever, just get him out of here. The ship will rise once we jettison the loose cannon.

Again - welcome TLoth - your comments will flow freely without moderation from now on.

I agree - keeping “Ocho Bozo” is just going to cause problems

Nobody in their right mind would give “him who shall not be named” an acting gig! How stupid is this guy? I can’t wait to see him on the field fumbling or catching and hear the overwhelming roar of BOOOO coming from the stands. It will worth the price of a ticket just to be a part of all of the hate directed to him…and he deserves that! Yes, we wanted to love the stupid idiot because he wore the stripes…but we can’t love him ever again. Its over for ocho stupido!

I agree with most of the comments here, 85 is an ass and a very seflish one at that, but we fans are facing a tough realazation that in all likelyhood he will be suiting up very soon, and he most likely will be a major part of our offense for another season. It will be easy for us to boo when he drops one over the middle or runs a sloppy route. But what are we going to do when he scores? Or makes the big catch? The last thing I want to do is celebrate this guys success, but I know I won’t be sitting on my hands either, because it’s a team game (even though 85 may never realize this), and we can’t root for certain players. We root for our team as a whole. I think this may be a tough scenario Bengal fans. Best case is that it becomes Laker esque, because as we’ve witnessed with Kobe and Co., winning cures all.

Winning does cure all. ‘WR Bengals’ needs to have a great year this year for our boys to even get a whiff of the playoffs. Trading him at this point is an unrealistic fantasy. CBS sportsline interviewed 3 NFL GMs the other day and the quotes were “I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 ft pole,” “I wouldn’t have him if he was offered for free,” and “I wouldn’t give you two cents for him.” ‘WR Bengals’ needs to get back on the same page with Carson and then shut up and play ball. The only way he can help improve his status with the Bengals (and other NFL GMs) is to have a quality season this year, and quit yakking. Bengals fans need to get over it and support him. Forgive and forget people.

No forgiving and certainly no forgetting - sorry josephus. I say applaud the touchdown for all those involved, but “boo” the absolute hell out of the celebration, should he have the gall to even try one.

He is officially back today and in camp.

Despite earlier reports from local radio stations (which reported that he participated in practice) Bengals.com has said that he refused to practice.
