Chad Ochocinco posted on his twitter account that Terrell Owens is coming to Cincinnati, claiming T.O. is Batman and he is Robin.
TMZ agrees and recently reported that T.O. is “very close” to signing with the Bengals.
Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis and Owen’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, say it is not happening.
Bengals beat writer Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer is starting to wonder if Antonio Bryant’s health (knee) might be in question. And if it is, then a T.O. signing wouldn’t be impossible.
Rosenhaus did say that he expects a deal to happen very soon, maybe in the next week. Will the Bengals actually be the team he signs with?
T.O. has said that he wants to play for contender and the Bengals appear to be the only team, which has a shot at the playoffs and is somewhat interested (not really sure if they are) in him.
