Incognito in Cincinnati

According to the National Football Post, veteran free agent offensive lineman Richie Incognito is visiting the Cincinnati Bengals today.

Incognito is known for being fined for a head-butt and a late hit in a game against Tennessee last December. He is also known as one of the league’s dirtiest players.

Is actually a good guard. Could be a starter in Cincinnati.

He also plans on visiting the Miami Dolphins this week. The Colts have also been reported to have interest in the controversial guard.

Bengals to re-sign Kelly: According to Bengals beat writer Joe Reedy, “the Bengals would still like to re-sign Reggie Kelly, but it also means that they will also take a look at selecting Oklahoma’s Jermaine Gresham or Arizona’s Rob Gronkowski.”

Don’t rule out T.O.: Reedy also believes, “There remains a small chance of Terrell Owens signing with the Bengals, but many things will have to happen in order for that to become reality.”

“It went really, really well,” offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski said of Owens’ visit (after the Bryant signing). “We both felt we would have been a real good match had it worked that way. I wouldn’t think that the door is closed but it’s going to make it harder now.”

Reedy also reported that Carson Palmer, “said that he is about a month to six weeks away from throwing the ball, which means he will be ready in plenty of time for on-field work in May.”

Palmer had surgery on his thumb, which was on his non-throwing hand. I don’t understand why he can’t throw for a month to six weeks.

I hope the Bengals sign TO. Carson and Chad both want him, and the Bengals’ passing game certainly needs improvement. Yeah, TO is a circus side-show, but he can catch the ball. Sign him for a year and let him help the Bengals win the Super Bowl.

Thanks for the comment Mark. You should be able to comment on posts without moderation. It would definitely be great to see T.O., Bryant, Caldwell and Ochocinco as the top four WRs. We shall see…there is another Bryant that is falling the in the draft.

Welcome aboard, hope to read your comments more often.
