The Cincinnati Bengals have already made a few moves this week (Steeler’s week).
On Monday the team placed Chris Henry on IR, ending the wide receiver’s season.
With the open roster spot, the team re-signed offensive lineman Scott Kooistra. Kooistra was cut last week.
During the Baltimore game, starting offensive guard Evan Mathis went down with an injury and did not return. Nate Livings, who started at that left guard spot earlier in the season, filled in nicely for Mathis. The Kooistra signing helps the Bengals depth at the guard spot.
On Tuesday the team re-signed wide receiver Freddie Brown, who was the team’s seventh-round draft choice in April. Brown was placed on the practice squad.
To make room for Brown, the Bengals released offensive lineman Gerald Cadogan from the practice squad.

All the moves seem right. Nothing out of the ordinary there. The key to us winning Sunday is our passing game. Out of all our receivers, I believe Henry had the best stats against the Stillers… that is when he played. Stillers are going to shut down the running game like the Texans did. I hope I’m wrong, but that tends to be their m.o. Regardless, I believe our remaining receivers will rise to the occasion and meet the challenge.
Who Dey!
